Police announced the arrest Lawrence Peterson, 64, of Newark, for an incident of illegal dumping that occurred yesterday.
Officials say at approximately 3 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force responded to the 900-block of South 20th Street after a citizen reported a man illegally discarding buckets of paint debris.
Upon arrival, the suspect, Lawrence Peterson, was arrested and charged with Illegal Dumping.
These charges are merely accusations. The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
