Newark Ironbound Section Robbery Suspects Sought by Police

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help identifying suspects who are connected with a robbery that occurred on Monday, August 22, 2016 in the area of Pacific and Delancy streets.

Police said at approximately 5 a.m., officers responded to the location on a call of a robbery.

An armed male suspect, riding a black BMX-type bicycle, approached a 31-year old victim and robbed him of cash, a cell phone and personal items police said.

The suspect, who was wearing a light blue shirt and black jeans, was last seen riding the bicycle into the Pennington Court Public Housing complex.

As part of their investigation, detectives have determined that the below pictured suspects used the victim’s credit card at a Pacific Street business police said.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
