Newark Ironbound 4th-Grader Wins Essex County Cherry Blossom Poster Contest

County officials in Essex saluted a Newark elementary student for winning the county's poster contest Monday.

The Honorable Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. congratulated Allison Soto-Vinan at a small ceremony. 

A fourth-grade student at East Ward Elementary School in Newark, county official said Allison was congratulated for winning the Essex County Fourth Grade Cherry Blossom Poster Contest.

The award was presented during the Essex County Blossomfest event in Essex County Branch Brook Park on Sunday, April 16th.
