According to the National Weather Service, today will be partly sunny with a high near 78 degrees.

Light southwest winds will shift to the south at 5 to 10 mph later this morning, making for another warm and comfortable day across the region.

However, an air quality alert has been issued due to smoke from ongoing wildfires in Ocean County.

Those with respiratory conditions or other health sensitivities may want to consider wearing a mask when outdoors.

Looking ahead to tonight, showers are expected to move in after 11 p.m., with a low around 61 degrees and a 90% chance of rain. Winds will remain out of the south at around nine mph.
