Newark Beth Israel Names New Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has named Beverly Coleman as the new Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer.

Ms. Coleman comes to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with more than 20 years of progressive business experience in Human Resources, Business Operations, and Sales and Logistics.

“Beverly Coleman brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her position that will be invaluable to us as we continue on our journey towards becoming a high-reliability organization, focused on safety, quality and delivering an excellent experience to our patients and their families,” Darrell K. Terry, Sr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, said.

Ms. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

She is also a Certified Mediator and most recently achieved her lean Six Sigma Black Belt during her tenure at Trinity Health Of New England.
