Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Names New VP of Cardiac Services

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has named William J. Debois, M.B.A., B.S., C.C.P., as the new Vice President of Cardiac Services and Perioperative Strategy.

Mr. Debois comes to Newark Beth Israel as an established healthcare leader with more than 35 years of extensive healthcare experience.

He works alongside the cardiac and surgical clinical teams to ensure patients receive high quality and safe care and an excellent patient experience.

“Our nationally ranked cardiac program is one of the most comprehensive in the nation, and we are one of only a few centers across the country that has performed more than 1,000 heart transplants," Darrell K. Terry, Sr., President and CEO at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, said. "William J. Debois’ clinical and operational expertise will be vital to our continued growth and the expansion of these programs.”

Mr. Debois received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Cardiopulmonary Sciences from State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College-The City University of New York.
