Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating Mr. Alex Battle, 36, of Newark, who is wanted for an aggravated assault that occurred on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.
According to authorities, at approximately 4:38 p.m., police responded to the 200-block of Alexander Street on a call of a sick and injured person.
Upon arrival, police found a 58-year-old man who was cut with an unspecific object by a male following a quarrel.
The victim was treated at University Hospital then released.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify 'Mr. Alex Battle as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
While police are actively searching for Battle, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from our streets.
The investigation is continuing.
