Police in Newark are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for a robbery that occurred on April 6th.
Officials say at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of Cedar Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery in progress.
Units arriving at the scene found the victim who reported being assaulted then robbed of cash and other personal items.
Police say the suspect then fled the area.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
