New York Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Hackensack

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Ordanny German, 29, of Bronx, NY, on a charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin. 

According to authorities, on Mar. 1st, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a motor vehicle stop of a black 2007 Jeep Cherokee in Hackensack.

The driver and sole occupant German consented to a search of the vehicle, during which detectives located approximately 3,250 bags of suspected heroin hidden in a secret compartment in the vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, German was arrested and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.  

Officials said German appeared in Central Judicial Processing Court on Feb. 2nd and was released with conditions.

Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
