New Jersey to Hold Virtual Meeting on Business Contracting Disparity Study

New Jersey

The community is invited to participate in the study of the State of New Jersey’s contracting practices.

The State of New Jersey is holding virtual business community meetings regarding its Disparity Study.

A Disparity Study determines whether a government entity has engaged in exclusionary practices in soliciting or awarding contracts to minority, women, or veteran-owned businesses.

The meetings will discuss the Disparity Study process and allow local businesses to ask questions, obtain information regarding MWVOB certifications and find out about upcoming contracting opportunities.

Firms’ experiences in doing business or attempting to do business with the State, including any barriers or difficulties they have experienced in the New Jersey marketplace, will also be sought.

The state has commissioned Mason Tillman Associates, Ltd. to perform the Disparity Study.
