RWJUH officials announced that to help lift the spirits of patients and staff who may be spending the holidays in the Hospital, the New Jersey Devils players, alumni, and staff made their annual visits to all RWJBarnabas Health hospitals on Monday, November 27th.
Officials said they delivered gifts, signed autographs, and took photos with patients, physicians, nurses & staff in Pediatrics, Oncology, Orthopedics, & Cardiac Rehab, among other departments.
As part of the systemwide visits, Devils’ players Nate Bastian, Dawson Mercer, and Michael McLeod visited Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, officials say.
According to officials, the players brought some much-needed holiday cheer to the patients and staff.
