New Jersey Couple Charged with Possession of Illegal Narcotics

Seaside Heights

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force collaborated with the Seaside Heights Police Department Detective Bureau and Seaside Heights Police Department Patrol Division to conduct an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in the Ocean County area.

Prosecutor Bradley said the two-month-long investigation identified a residence in Seaside Heights as being utilized by Mr. Jimmey Bryant, Jr., and Ms. Ceeyanna Pringle, to store and distribute narcotics.

On March 18, Detectives from the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, Seaside Heights Police Department Detective Bureau, Seaside Heights Police Department Patrol Division, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, executed a court-authorized search warrant on the subject's residence.

As a result, Detectives seized 20 grams of cocaine powder, 20 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a conducted energy device, and a digital scale.

Prosecutor Bradley said Bryant and Pringle were subsequently arrested at the residence.

In furtherance of the investigation, a search of a nearby residence was conducted.

As a result, Detectives seized a semi-automatic handgun with a loaded 30 round magazine.

Additional charges are forthcoming as a result of this search.
