Nestlé USA has initiated a voluntary recall of specific NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough "break and bake" Bar (16.5 oz) products due to the potential presence of wood fragments.

According to company officials, the recall is specific to two batches of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough "break and bake" Bar products produced on April 24 and 25, 2023.

These products were distributed across retailers in the United States.

Nestle officials said this recall does not encompass any other NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® products, including different varieties of refrigerated cookie dough in "break and bake" bars, rolls, or tubs, as well as Edible cookie dough.

Although no instances of illness or injury have been reported, this precautionary step has been taken after a limited number of consumers reached out to Nestlé USA regarding this matter.

Customers who have purchased NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bar (16.5 oz) with batch codes 311457531K and 311557534K are advised not to prepare or consume the product. Instead, they should return the item to the retailer of purchase for a replacement or refund.
