Passaic County authorities are investigating a shooting that injured several victims Thursday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to several calls reporting shots fired in the vicinity of 71 North Main Street shortly after midnight.
When police arrived at the scene, they found as many as five conscious and alert victims suffering bullet wounds at that location.
Police say all of the victims were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and remain in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No arrests reported.
