Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest of Paramus, Paterson Men

Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrests of Alex Autieri, 28, of Paramus and Jonathan Rodriguez, 18, Paterson.

A narcotics investigation revealed that Autieri was involved in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances, namely cocaine and marijuana.

According to police, on Thursday, law enforcement personnel conducted a search of a vehicle in which Autieri and Rodriguez were traveling. The search revealed approximately two hundred grams of cocaine, one pound of marijuana, and numerous unused plastic vials utilized to package cocaine for distribution purposes.

Autieri was also in possession of $1,219.00. Both were arrested without incident. The estimated street value of the cocaine and marijuana seized on this date is $13,000.

Autieri and Rodriguez were each charged with one count of Possession With the Intent to Distribute Cocaine, one count of Possession With the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Third Degree Crime; and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Associated to the Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a Fourth Degree Crime.

Both men were remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a Central Judicial Processing court date.
