Police earlier today were notified that a small amount of illegal drugs were found in a common area of North Warren Regional School.
Responding officers confirmed it was a narcotic and requested K-9 Officers from Washington Police, Hackettstown Police, and Blairstown Police to search the remaining common areas of the school.
According to authorities, they will continue to work with the administration of North Warren Regional School to ensure the safety of the students.
Officials ask parents to take the time to speak with their children about the dangers of substance abuse.
