A multi-vehicle crash that occurred on a NJ highway this evening caused a traffic jam for motorist in Kenilworth.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the northbound lanes of The Garden State Parkway near exit 138 to investigate reports of a crash with injuries that occurred at around 5 p.m.
Units arrived to find about five cars crashed and blocking all lanes on the highway.
Police were able to unblock at least two lanes so that traffic could flow but residual delays backed up The Parkway for about 3 miles.
There were no serious injuries reported.
