Newark

Two Newark Police Officers were injured following a pursuit of a stolen vehicle occupied by multiple juveniles in the city's South Ward.

On Saturday night, police attempted to stop a vehicle near Ridgewood Avenue that was reported stolen when the driver sped away, striking the cop and causing a foot injury around 11:15 p.m.

Police say the suspects bailed from the car, and two were immediately captured.
