Police in Newark are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on the border of the city’s Central and South Wards this afternoon.
The crash caused significant delays on Elizabeth Avenue after two cars and a pickup truck collided near the Clinton Avenue split just before 3:30 p.m.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck lost control and struck the gate of a housing complex.
There were no severe injuries reports.
The Newark Police Department will handle the investigation.
