Newark Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred late this morning in the city's downtown.
Emergency responders were called to the vicinity of Broad Street and Lincoln Park just before noon.
Upon arrival, they found that a car slammed into the rear of a second vehicle which ended with four cars damaged at that location.
Fortunately, there were no serious physical injuries reported.
The crash caused heavy traffic on Broad Street for the afternoon commute.
