Police are on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries in the city's South Ward.
First responders rushed to the scene of the crash that had three cars involved in the area of Irvine Turner Boulevard at West Bigelow at around 2:15 p.m.
Rescue crews pulled one person from the vehicle that was suffering life threatening injuries and was transported to University Hospital.
Several occupants from the silver vehicle fled the scene on foot.
There are reports of other injuries at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
