Mount Olive Karate Academy Owner Sentenced for Criminal Sexual Contact

Authorities in Morris County announced the sentencing of Raymond Ziesse, 52, of Chester, for Criminal Sexual Contact.AdMorris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said Ziesse is the owner of the Mount Olive Karate Academy in Flanders.

Officials said Ziesse was indicted in December 2023 on charges arising from a sexual relationship between himself and his former adult student at the Mount Olive Karate Academy dojo.

The student was an adult with cognitive and developmental disabilities, officials stated. 

According to officials, the sexual conduct is alleged to have occurred on various dates between May 2018 and August 2018 at the Mount Olive Karate Academy dojo.

Authorities say on February 9, 2024, Ziesse entered a guilty plea to one count of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact.

On March 15, 2024, the Hon. Stephen J. Taylor, P.J.Cr. imposed a two-year sentence of probation, officials say.
