New Jersey State Police are investigating a serious overnight crash that left a motorcyclist critically injured on the Garden State Parkway in Passaic County.The collision occurred around 1:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Exit 155B in Clifton.
When troopers arrived, they discovered the rider had been ejected from the motorcycle and was lying unconscious on the highway.
Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care.
The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed, but they were described as severe.
Police temporarily shut down the center lanes of the Parkway to investigate the crash.
No other injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
