There were severe injuries reported for a motorcyclist who was involved in a crash on a street in Paterson on Friday evening.
According to police, the crash happened at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of 8th Avenue and East 18th Street emergency responder rushed to the scene after they received reports of a crash with injuries.
Police and rescue crews arrived at the scene found the severely injured, unconscious and unresponsive motorcyclist ejected from the motorcycle at that location.
The victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, with CPR in progress, for further treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and there were no other injuries reported.
