A motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash Saturday evening in Bergen County, authorities said.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred around 7:25 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Avenue and Phelps Avenue in Englewood.
Police and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, officers found the rider had been ejected from the motorcycle and was suffering from a serious head injury.
The individual was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
Authorities temporarily closed a portion of the roadway to conduct an investigation.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the incident remains under investigation.
