Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a rider and left another person injured, officials said.
According to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. on Morsetown Road.
Police and EMS responded after receiving reports of a severe collision involving a motorcycle.
When first responders arrived, they found the rider lying on the ground, unresponsive, after being ejected from the bike.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At least one other person was injured in the crash, though their condition has not been released.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and West Milford Police.
