Motorcyclist Killed in Route 21 Crash in Passaic

Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, police responded to Route 21 South near mile marker 10.8 in response to a report that a motorcycle had struck a motor vehicle.

The investigation revealed that the motorcyclist, Marco Centanni, 33, of Roseland, was operating a Suzuki GSX R-750 when he struck a 2017 Honda Accord, being operated by Aneela Farooq, 30, of Bayonne.

Mr. Centanni was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in this collision, and Ms. Farooq remained on the scene and presented a valid license.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
