Authoritative in Morris County are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Rockaway Township Tuesday night.
According to police, the crash happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Green Pond Road where an off-duty officer located the severely injured victim lying on the ground after crashing while on a motorcycle.
Emergency responders arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene according to preliminary reports.
The cause of the crash has not been determining at this time.
