An afternoon crash involving a pick-up truck is under investigation after a motorcyclist was killed, according to police.
Police responded to Little Falls Road and Passaic Avenue sometime around 12:40 p.m. for a report of crash.
According to authorities, a crash involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a Ford F-150 truck sent the unidentified motorcyclist to St. Joseph's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No immediate information was available on whether the driver of truck was injured.
The crash is currently under investigation by Fairfield police, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and State Police.
