Police in Irvington Township are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist injured on Monday afternoon.
The collision happened around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Grove Street, a busy roadway in the township. 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist down on the pavement after being ejected from the bike during the crash.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to reports, the rider is expected to survive.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
