Mother, Daughter Found Dead in Ventnor City Home ID’d

Two women found dead at a residence in Ventnor City on Sunday morning have been identified as mother and daughter and the investigation of their homicides continues, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

According to authorities, Elaine Rosen, 87, and her daughter Michelle Gordon, 67, were found dead at approximately 10:25 a.m., on July 8th, inside a residence at 4800 Boardwalk, Ventnor City. Rosen and Gordon were the victims of apparent blunt force trauma.

Officials say autopsies for both victims are scheduled for July 10th.

The joint investigation is continuing between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Ventnor City Police Department.

No arrests have been made at this time.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no apparent danger to the public.
