Police in Montclair are currently searching for a suspect who stole approximately $1,800 worth of merchandise from an AT&T store in the township on February 6.
According to police, the manager of the AT&T store at 654 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair reported that the suspect posed as a customer in the store and when employees were distracted, stole an iPhone 11 and an iPhone 12.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40 years of age, 6'2" tall, with a thin build and a raspy voice.
Police say he was reportedly wearing a black wool hat, medical-style face mask, dark-colored coat with puffy hood, dark-colored pants and gray Nike brand shoes with a white Nike swoosh.
