Montclair Firefighters Swiftly Extinguish House Fire


Montclair's -bravest- Firefighters made fast extinguishing work out of a blaze that broke out inside a house in a section of the city Wednesday night.  

Firefighters were dispatched to the quick-moving fire that broke inside 36 Forest Street around 8:37 p.m. 

Crews arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the rear of a three-story siding framed house. 

Montclair Firefighters made entry inside the homes to find the seat of the fire and search for rapped and injured occupants. 

After a search, no injuries were reported and crews brought the fire under control around 8:50 p.m. 

The cause is under investigation.
