Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Chief Michael Biennas of the Monroe Police Department announce that authorities are investigating a serious crash that occurred earlier Tuesday in the Township.
Police say the crash occurred at approximately 11:43 am on Mounts Mills Road in Monroe Township.
Patrolman Dan Mosakowski of the Monroe Police Department and Detective Jonathan Berman of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined that at approximately 11:43 am, a car was traveling on Mounts Mill Road, near Englishtown Road, when the vehicle crossed a double yellow line and struck another vehicle.
One driver was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the other driver was taken by ambulance; both are considered to be in serious condition.
