Mild Morning Turns to Rainy Afternoon in Newark, North Jersey Region

Residents in Newark and the North Jersey region are starting their day with mild but still chilly conditions under cloudy skies.ChickenHowever, the weather is set to change as the day progresses, with a cold front bringing scattered showers to the area later this afternoon.

The National Weather Service forecasts a 30% chance of drizzle or light rain before noon, increasing to a chance of light rain continuing into the afternoon.

Despite the overcast conditions, temperatures will reach a high near 54 degrees, with calm winds throughout the day.

As we move into Wednesday night, NWS forecasters say the likelihood of rain or drizzle intensifies, with an 80% chance of precipitation.

The temperature will slightly dip to a low of around 47 degrees, accompanied by calm winds.

With periods of rain expected to persist into the night, residents are advised to carry an umbrella and exercise caution while traveling.

The incoming weather conditions may impact outdoor plans, so it's best to stay prepared and travel safely.
