We're waking up to a mild start to the week across the Garden State.
It’s 72 degrees in downtown Newark this morning, with a pleasant breeze making for a comfortable start to the day. 
Around the region, temperatures include 63° in West Orange, 67° in Roselle Park, 68° in Linden, 71° in Hoboken and 70° in Kearny.
The good news is there’s no rain showing on the radar, so you can leave the umbrella at home.
Expect a mostly sunny day with comfortable humidity before much hotter weather settles in.
A heat wave is expected to begin on Tuesday, so enjoy today’s pleasant conditions while they last.
According to the National Weather Service:
Today: Sunny, with a high near 87°. Light southwest winds will increase to 6 to 11 mph during the morning.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 69°. Southwest winds between 7 and 10 mph.
