Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to mild and breezy conditions to start the week, with wall-to-wall sunshine expected as the day progresses.

If you’re heading out early, it’s around 53 degrees in Newark with gusty winds making it feel cooler—and elevating fire risk across parts of the region.
As the day moves forward, temperatures will climb into the low 70s, with plenty of sunshine helping to warm things up and keep conditions pleasant.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 73 degrees. Southwest winds will range from 7 to 14 mph, with gusts reaching up to 25 mph.
Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with a low around 58 degrees and a light southwest wind near 9 mph.
