Middletown police announced the arrest of 26-year-old Nicholas Reines.
According to criminal complaints, Middletown police were in the process of effecting an arrest Friday when Reines began fighting with two detectives causing bodily injury to both of the detectives. Reines then threatened to shoot and kill a detective due to a previous arrest.
Reines was subsequently charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, one count of terroristic threats & one count of retaliation for past official action.
He was taken to MCCI in lieu of $145,000 bail with no 10% option.
