Middlesex County Teacher Faces Charges of Criminal Explicit Contact and Endangering Minors

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced today that a 56-year-old man, Mr. Edward White of Tinton Falls, has been charged with Criminal Explicit Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.AdThis troubling development stems from an investigation conducted by Detective Olivia Ankudowicz of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Reymond Nolasco of the Perth Amboy Police Department.

According to the investigation, Mr. White had allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior by inappropriately touching two juvenile students on separate occasions.

These incidents occurred while he was employed as a carpentry teacher at the Middlesex County Perth Amboy Magnet School.

On December 13, 2023, Edward White surrendered himself to the Perth Amboy Police Department.

He now faces two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Explicit Contact and two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Currently, White is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center, awaiting his initial appearance in Superior Court.AdThe investigation into this distressing matter remains active and ongoing.
