Middlesex County Announces Special Grant Program in Commemoration of the American Revolution

Middlesex County officials announced that in honor of the United States’ upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in 2026, Middlesex County is proud to announce a special grant opportunity through the Arts Institute of Middlesex County to programs that explore the County’s role in the American Revolution and the legacy of the American Revolution in the County.

Grant awards, ranging from $1,000 to $7,500, will be made available through a competitive process to municipal entities and nonprofit organizations based in Middlesex County, which are recognized by the State of New Jersey, with IRS tax exemption as a 501c3 or 501c4 organization, MCPO officials say.

According to Middlesex County officials, all proposed programs must occur within Middlesex County, be open to the public, and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Eligible program formats include history lectures, exhibits, performances, visual art, public art, publications, walking tours, folk arts workshops, and other similar activities. 

Programs must take place between July 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026, Middlesex County authorities said.
