Metuchen Driver Injured After Crashing into Trees on I-80 in Warren County

State Police in New Jersey is investigating the cause of an I-80 crash in Warren County that injured a Morris County resident Saturday night. 

According to NJ State Trooper Charles Marchan, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 9:13 pm in the eastbound lanes of I-80 near milepost 7, Knowlton Twp., Warren County. 

Based on a preliminary investigation, Trooper Marchan said a 22-year-old man from Metuchen was traveling east on I–80 when his vehicle lost directional control, traveled off the roadway, and impacted multiple trees.

As a result of the crash, Trooper Marchan said the driver sustained severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.  Job
