An armed robbery of a pizza delivery man overnight in Maywood is under investigation by authorities.
According to initial reports, at around 10:15 p.m., police were called to the 400 block of Bergen Avenue on reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Arriving police officers located the victim (a pizza delivery man) who reported that he was approached by two black male suspects who were armed with a gun when the suspects demanded cash.
The victim reportedly handed over an unknown amount of cash shortly before the suspects ran from the scene.
There were no reports of physical injuries.
The investigation is being handled by the Maywood Police Department.
