Masked, Naked Man Exposes Himself to Women in South Orange

There is an active investigation into several incidents where a unidentified man approached women in the late evening hours wearing a mask and naked from waist down according to witnesses.

The latest of at least two incidents happened in the area of Irvington Avenue and Ward Street in the Village where according to reports, a male suspect, who was masked an naked from the waist down showed up in the area and approached two women.

The women were reportedly returning to their neighborhood that's dimly lit by gas light lamps when one of the women reportedly observed the man sitting on a neighbor's porch several doors down.

The man reportedly focused his attention on the women for several minutes, before they began to walk towards their vehicle.

Believing that the suspect was a neighbor, the women continued to watch the suspect who then began to swiftly walk towards them.

According to reports, a security flood light from one of the houses nearby focused on the suspect allowing the women to quickly notice that the man was wearing a mask and had his pants below his knees.

The suspect had one hand reportedly holding up a shirt while the other hand was fondling himself.

One of the women screamed for her husband, causing the suspect to pull his pants up and run towards Underhill Football field reports said.

In a police report release on September 22, 2016. authorities said a 22-year-old female reported to them that on Sunday September 18, 2016 she was walking east on Irvington Ave. when she observed a white male approximately 5'8" in height with a muscular build and wearing a tan scarf around his face exposing himself.

Police are looking for a 5'11-6'2 white male who has a husky build and was last seen wearing a ski-mask, a short sleeve burgundy t-shirt, and in his late 20's or early 30's .

There have been no serious injuries reported or arrests made.
