Maplewood police are investigating after anti-Semitic graffiti was discovered inside a bathroom at Columbia High School earlier this week.
According to authorities, officers were called to Columbia High School, located at 17 Parker Avenue, on March 4, 2026, after school officials reported graffiti written inside the boys’ first-floor D-wing bathroom.
Officials said the graffiti contained disturbing anti-Semitic language referencing conspiracy theories.
The incident was reported to police by Columbia High School Principal Frank Sanchez after the writing was discovered inside the restroom.
The Maplewood Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
Authorities said the report has also been forwarded to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office for further review.
No additional information has been released.
