Police in West Milford are investigating a crash involving an ATV that killed a man and a woman Sunday, police said today.
Police responded to Reservoir Road at about 12:49 a.m. Sunday, after a 911 call reporting a serious crash with injuries.
According to police, responding officers found that a Polaris Sportsman 800 ATV went off the road and struck a tree.
The two victims killed in the crash were identified as Steven F. Struble and Valerie E. Sheerer, both 47 and from Oak Ridge.
The West Milford Township Crash Investigation Unit and the Northern Regional Medical Examiner's Office are handling the investigation.
