Man Wanted for Questioning in Newark Criminal Mischief Investigation

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Gerald Fleming, 48, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a criminal mischief incident that occurred on Aug. 27st.

According to authorities, on that date of the incident, police met with the female victim, who told police that at approximately 8 a.m. she parked her vehicle in the area of 14th Avenue and Hunterdon Street but when she returned her rear passenger window had been broken.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Fleming as a possible suspect in this incident.

While police are actively seeking Fleming for questioning, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him.
