The New Jersey State Police and the Englewood Cliffs Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect wanted for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint on Bayview Avenue in Englewood Cliffs.
According to police, on Sunday, August 2, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a male suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim, forcibly removed a watch from his wrist, and fled the scene on foot with another suspect in the direction of Sylvan Avenue.
Police say the suspect who brandished the gun is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male in his late 20’s to early ’30s, wearing a purple shirt, light blue jeans, and gray and white sneakers.
A detective with the New Jersey State Police Forensic Imaging Unit created a composite sketch of the suspect.
