Man Wanted in Connection with Newark Shooting Investigation

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male in connection with a shooting that occurred on September 15.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated police responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 1:04 a.m. on Green Street near Mulberry Street.

When they arrived, officers located a 9mm shell casing in the middle of Green Street, according to Newark officials.

Newark officials said they also located a projectile in the hallway of an apartment building on Columbia Street and what appeared to be bullet holes in the wall of an apartment on that street.
