Man Wanted for Armed Robbery at Hotel in Newark

Police officials in Newark said an arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Ronald Miller, 27, of Newark who is wanted for an armed robbery on October 11th.

According to police, the victim told police officers, who responded to his call, that he was robbed at gunpoint around 5:50 a.m. at the Tryp Hotel on East Park Street.

Miller, who has been identified as the gunman, brandished a weapon and took the victim’s tote bags that contained money, clothing, sneakers, jewelry and his wallet.

According to police Miller, described as 6’ 0’’ and 150 pounds, has a tattoo with “Tripset” written on his neck. His complexion is dark brown and he has brown eyes and hair.

When the incident occurred, Miller was with Malikah Mumford, 33, of Newark, who has been arrested for her role in the crime.

Mumford has been charged with robbery, conspiracy for her role in the robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

These charges are merely accusations.

The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
