Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Montgomery Township Captain Thomas Wain are requesting the public’s assistance in the investigation into a burglary that occurred at the Congregation Kehilat Shalom in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.
Prosecutor Robertson stated that on July 07, 2019 at 12:58 am, Montgomery Township Police responded to the Congregation Kehilat Shalom, located at 253 Belle Mead Griggstown Road for an activated burglar alarm.
Montgomery Township Police located an unsecured door and proceeded to check the interior of the synagogue. Review of the synagogue’s surveillance system depicted a white male inside the synagogue.
The actor can be described as a white male approximately 17-25 years of age with brown hair and an average build wearing a white printed T-shirt, gray athletic shorts and tan low cut work boots with a white sole.
Authorities are releasing an image taken from the video surveillance footage in an effort to identify the individual.
